Is it just me, or do these particular toys look a little less dumb than what we already have? Or am I just crazy, and they're the same mold? I'm sure someone will correct me in the comments either way.

Some more crazy stuff is popping up over on Taobao.  Their toy release voodoo knows no bounds!

Apparently the mane cast is planning a trip to... somewhere (maybe a new season two city?), complete with suitcases and pet dogs, ducks, and hedgehogs(?).

A little random, but we expect that by now!

Blind Bag Toys R' Us Exclusive Now Available Online

For those looking to grab themselves a set of the blind bag ponies, it looks like they are now available on the Toys R' Us website.

There is also a coupon code buried on the facebook page for 20% off, just CTRL+F for "Coupon".  It can be used in store, and online.  The total with the coupon+tax/shipping was 27 bucks for me.  I think the in store ones are 20, though they list them as 30 on the site so I am not 100% sure.

New Mcdonalds Pony Toys Demonstration

For those looking to spend a ridiculous amount of money aquiring the new Mcdonalds Pony Toys on Ebay, stalkout has set up a demonstration video showing them off.  You can find it after the break!

They are a little bit goofy looking, but I wouldn't mind picking up a set if they ever come to the states.  I wonder why they changed them from the original toys though?

"We Love Fine" Tee Shirt Contest Results are In!

After a few interesting set backs, and a few weeks of voting, the tee shirt design contest entries are finally in! It looks like The Wonderbolts took the top slot, with a few other really neat designs coming in right behind it.  I have to admit, that Sweetie Belle one is pretty amazing.

Brony Shirts Now at the Actual Hot Topic Stores (UPDATED)

I remember a while back wondering if we would ever get big enough for this, and even posting about it.  Looks like we actually did!

Sadly the bottom shirt in the image was actually a design created by an artist in the fandom (Megasweet), and used without permission.  I reported about this in the nightly roundup a few days ago, but I figured I'd split it off here.

Megasweet has sent them an email about the issue, but it sounds like nothing has come of it yet.  I'm not exactly sure what the legal rules on something like this are, but it's still a bit strange that a company would jack a design like this.

Apparenty someone did contact Megasweet.  The design has been put on hold.   Someone else submitted it to the Mighty Fine tee shirt contest without permission,  and Hot Topic was unaware of it.  Glad that's being taken care of! More information, and the thread about it can be found here!

Regardless, we are now considered "trendy".  How does it feel?

Pinkie Pie Ornament Already Available in Ontario

Apparently this thing is already floating around up in Canada.  For those living in Ontario, a store called "Carlton Cards" currently has them in stock for 13 bucks a pop.  Not too bad considering American Greetings ornaments are usually considered collectors items in a few years. 

Do you leave Pinkie Pie locked away in a box for potential future resale though?  Can the party pony of Ponyville stand her plastic imprisonment?

I hope those of you that do pick one up will make the right decision.  You don't want a Pinkamena on your hands.

G4 Minty on Taobao

More stuff from Taobao!  Voodoo I tells yah! I don't know how they manage to get all of this stuff so early.

I don't really know the history on Minty, but if shes as cool as the fan-art plays her out to be, I'm hoping she shows up at some point on season two!

Looks like some more completely random merch has popped up.  You can now cover your desktop in pony tape using the pony scissors to cut shapes and make measurements.

It seems like every household object is being ponified.  I'm still waiting for my limited edition, embossed,  pony xbox 360 controller and PSP!

Pinkie Pie Christmas Ornament

Holy crap... we can actually have a pony Christmas tree. This is from the "coming soon" section of American Greetings. 

A quick google search reveals that this was pretty common in the older gens, at least for Pinkie Pie.  It's still unclear if we will see the rest of the mane cast.

Pony Collection Set Sneaking into Toys R' Us

That blind bag pony set I posted a few weeks ago is finally showing up in stores. 

This specific one was found at a Toys R' Us in Tuscon, Arizona. 

I'm not sure if every Toys R' Us has them right now, but it might be worth it to give them a call at the very least.

This is a pretty heavy merch day!  All sorts of random stuff is popping up.  Above is a pencil pouch found at Wal-Mart of all places, retailing at $3.97 (Canadian).

And for the Sweetie Belle fans out there, another part of that train set I posted a while back has popped up.  This one was found, once again, on Taobao... the goddamn matrix of the internet.

And finally, an addition to the Glimmer Wings line of ponies.  Unlike Rainbow Dash, this one at least fits...somewhat.  At least she did at some point have wings in the show in this style.

New Blind Bag Ponies

 For those of you out there looking to CATCH EM ALL™ , a few new blind bag ponies have popped up.

It's unclear if this system is going to continue to expand, but from what I've been hearing outside the USA, these things are selling ridiculously well.  I'm curious about how they will be treated once they head to the states.

I'm a bit disappointed though.  This is the PERFECT way to release some background ponies.  Even if they don't have the fanon names, it would be amazing to see an Octavia or Bonbon pop up.

Pony Puzzle Playsets

 A few weeks ago these puzzle play-sets popped up, but not a whole lot of information was available for them.

Apparently they are now being stocked at K-Mart, and it looks like the uber-rare blindbag Fluttershy that was selling for 200 bucks on ebay a while back is now a measly 5 bucks. 

 Each one comes with a simple cardboard version of their respective in-show locations, including Twilight's Library, Fluttershy's Cottage, and Sugar Cube Corner.

The actual puzzle aspect is just the outside floor area, which I'm sure you can dig up from looking at the images found after the break!
