Poll: Would You Watch A Long Arc Style FiM Series?

For those of you that listened to the podcast, this was pretty heavily debated in the last 10 minutes, which we had to cut off due to time constraints. 

FiM is obviously a slice of life style show.  It doesn't have much going for it in terms of continuity, and for the most part can be watched in any order.  This is usually the nature of childrens television. 

A good amount of us are in our 20's and used to long series arcs, be it a DVD box set of Sopranos or a 100 episode Anime. 

So what do you guys think?  Would you watch a series about your favorite pony traveling across Equestria and growing as a character?

I can't believe Nyx almost beat Fluttershy.  Remember 4 months ago when I said OC ponies would be more accepted as our desperation for pony increases?  Looks like it happened... I probably should have thrown Little Pip into the mix too...

The website seems smooth enough now for polls again.  I've been trying to optimize the hell out of it, since the load times before were atrocious.  Feel free to suggest some below!

This is pretty surprising actually.  I didn't think so many people actually read the fanfiction here. 

I'm also glad you guys aren't sick of the pmv dumps.  They do get sort of repetitive considering we have no new episodes to use for them.

I'm sure the comments will center around one option there, something everyone kept bugging me to add.  I figured I'd just compile it.

Poll Results: What Episode Turned You Into A Brony

I guess that isn't too surprising.

Twenty of you sure did join the party late!  Welcome to the club!

I can see how Party of One converted 76, that episode was pure awesome. 

This next poll was requested by someone over on Ponychan.  Apparently there is a huge debate going on about Trixie's innocence in Boast Busters.

Some things to point out about the episode that should supplement it:

• As a Traveling Entertainer, it is technically her job to boast her abilities.
• Rainbow Dash started it with her "magic smagic, boooo". 
• The Ursa Major wasn't actually her fault, though boasting about defeating one was probably overboard
• Trixie was still an asshole to everyone even after the magic show. 
• She did at least try to defeat the ursa!

Really...? I mean, she is awesome, don't get me wrong,  but when did she become the BEST pony? Fluttershy doesn't even WANT attention.

And how the hell did Doctor Whoof beat the Great and Powerful Trixie?

I'm pretty disappointed guys, and so is Twilight Sparkle.  I hope you are all happy.  The poor girl has been crying her eyes out for a few hours now.   

Also Lyra asked me to keep her and bonbon off the list.  Apparently they are tired of everyone butting in on their personal lives.  In fact, Bonbon broke up with Lyra around the middle of season 1 thanks to you.  It's rumored that they still see each other in secret, but they sure as hell don't live together anymore.

Polls!

What would you guys like to see me poll?

I stopped doing them for a while, but I'd like to start regularly posting them again. 

They will now fall hang the bottom right of the blog under the archive.  I figure that's less annoying and doesn't get in the way of the NO FANFICTION button. Sure it might be less obvious, but everypony will scroll down far enough to vote once at some point.

Anyway, I'm busting out a favorite pony poll for the next day and a half (Since this is always fun to see how it evolves over time with different episodes/fan fictions influencing it), then rolling with suggestions. 

Also I get asked a lot why I don't use "everypony" every time. 

I honestly don't know!

I'm not sure if this has been reported before, but a Ponychan pony regularly holds a Friday Poll that tracks different statistics and community responses over time. At the moment I believe it is still collecting responses from yesterday, so, feel free to drop in and add your opinion to the mix.

By the way, I implore you to try to find a scene of Dash talking to Spitfire that didn't include at least one wingboner. Because I can't find one.

Okay, down to business.

You might have noticed that there's a new poll in town. And this new poll is wearing naught but letters for options. But Cereal, that makes no sense! Shut up, I ain't done!

The 300-Word Story Event is rapidly approaching (this was the last one), and it will be held by yours truly. My idea this time around is to put a small restriction in place on the stories submitted to make things interesting. Small things, nothing to hamper creativity.

Thing is, Seth and I came up with five. And I can't choose. That's where you come in. This poll will decide the story restriction for the event. I have them assigned already (secretly, of course) and won't be shuffling them, so no worries. The letter that gets picked is the letter that gets picked, no matter what it is.

One hint, though: there is one option there you really don't want to choose.
